Baccolo was born as a tribute to the God Bacchus, who is fully recognized by wine lovers. Its two wines are made with ingenious blends of Italian varietals such as Corvina and Garganega. The result is wines with good complexity and a great amount of fruit thanks to their fermentation at low temperatures. They are wines that protect biodiversity. Cielo e Terra, the company that owns Baccolo, has two strong roots
in the Veneto region, in the north-east of Italy. The first is the Cielo family: a history of 4 generations. The second, the Cantine dei Colli Berici cooperative, with over 2000 associated winegrowers. In 1908, Giovanni Cielo, the founder, bought a small estate in Montorso, overlooking the castles of Romeo and Juliet.
