After a long search to establish himself in the 90s, William Cole, an American national, fell in love with the Casablanca Valley for its colors and fertile lands that recalled his origins in the USA. This is how, in the Tapihue sector, he decided to give shape to his dream of creating a vineyard with his name.
The winery is currently part of the Tapihue Wines group, which stands out for the production of premium wines, widely recognized in Chile and the world.

William Cole Vineyards was founded in 1999 in the Tapihue area, in the heart of the Casablanca Valley. The winery located on the side of the estate has state-of-the-art technology, with a capacity of 2.5 million liters in stainless steel tanks. In addition, we have a semi-underground barrel room with a capacity for 1,500 barrels and a bottling line of 2,400 bottles per hour.

Tapihue Wines has 400 hectares of vineyards in Casablanca, dedicated exclusively to the production of cool climate varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere grapes are sourced from carefully managed vineyards in the warmer regions of Maipo, Colchagua and Cachapoal.

The management of all its vineyards is oriented towards the production of quality grapes using all available technology to minimize the impact on the environment, rescuing the best expression of each terroir.
In 2001, the winery was built with a capacity of 3.0 million liters, cutting-edge technology, modern equipment and a bottling line of 2,400 bottles/hour. In addition, the facilities have a semi-underground room with capacity for 1,500 barrels.

Their vineyards are located in the heart of the Casablanca Valley, in central Chile. The climate is temperate and stable, thanks to the coastal breezes of the Pacific Ocean, only 40 kilometers from their fields. Intense and fruity wines are reflected in an average of 14ºC, low temperatures between June and August, and high temperatures between December and March. Their lands of alluvial origin, sandy-loam texture, with good permeability, produce a balance in the vine, giving rise to wines that stand out worldwide. They currently have 400 hectares in the area and 300 additional hectares in selected Chilean valleys such as Maipo, Colchagua and Leyda, among others, in order to expand their variety of wines.
